Description
The heartwood color can range from a deep brownish-purple to a light-brown. Most common is a brownish-mauve color as pictured here. When finished the tones become brighter and more vibrant. Honduran Rosewood has a dense structure and a distinctive glassy sound when rolled on the gaming table.
