Cyber Monday East Indian Rose Wood

This species is found in many Asian antiques and has been used extensively on acoustic guitars since the mid 1960s as a substitute for the now-endangered Brazilian Rosewood. It has a very fine texture and deep purple / brown heartwood. As with other members of the dalbergia family (The True Rosewoods), East Indian Rosewood is very dense and has a wonderful tap tone. Which means the dice not only feel amazing they sound amazing when you roll them.  Here we have 2 examples of the different colorations that can happen in the same tree with East Indian Rosewood. Below is a really nice rich purple tone set of dice, and the upper set is a more typical rich chocolate tone with purple hues. Please note that 4d6’s will be cut by hand from the end of the blank when we shape and polish these dice.
