$624.00
For many years these elusive dice were a convention exclusive item. Never before listed on our site, only a select few customers own a set of these rare beauties. However, we don’t really do conventions these days as our travel time is spent in the Armored Combat world playing D&D in real life. So when we found some old dino bone material we decided to make one final run of these dice and offer them up to our VIP customers. So hurry up and grab one of the last two sets of these dice to ever be made. Please note you will not find this listed in our dice catalogue. The only way to access this item is through the direct link you received in your VIP email.

These dice like the rest of our Elemental Dice, are made to game with. We don’t make shelf queens. Our dice are made to be used and we back that up with a lifetime warranty. Most semi precious stone dice proved to chip easily and wouldn’t hold up to regular use. That’s no bueno.
So how did we get around stones natural propensity to chip? Simple – we cheated. This new line of dice have been crafted from semi precious stone set in a resin matrix. The end result is flawless in execution, beauty, gameability (if that’s not a word, it is now). By binding the ground semi precious stone in a resin matrix, it adds a toughness to the resulting die that unaltered stone just doesn’t have while retaining all the visual properties and heft of the original stone. In this case that semi precious stone was an agatized dinosaur fossil like the one you see here. These specimens are Late Jurassic aged dinosaur bone from Utah. A rare form of fossilized dinosaur bone where the original fossilized bone has been re-mineralized with silica based compounds like agate, or jasper. The agatized bone is either found as fragments on the surface or partial bones that have long since been destroyed by exposure to the elements, or as broken and tumbled chunks in between layers of softer rock. It could have come from any of a number of dinosaurs found in the Utah formation and we aren’t good enough dinologists to properly identify which dinosaur it came from.
Each face of these dice is inlaid with a solid brass number.
