So I couldn’t bring myself to trash the last of the Ancient Bog Oak Burl d20s, but it wasn’t fit to make a die out of as the machining process, revealed a couple of hidden voids. So I decided to try my hand at filling those voids with some crushed Turquoise. Turned out looking pretty spiffy. This process is used quite frequently by wood turners with with burls, and the results can be quite spectacular. (quick google image search) I wasn’t planning on selling it, but since I’ve had 3 folks offer to buy it already. I figured I’d post it for them.
