Description
Want your own set of d6s with stone inlay? Send us an email at contact@artisandice.com to customize a set!
We’ve been working with turquoise for inlay for quite a while now, but recently we’ve begun to use a number of the new materials for inlay work. The results are astounding. Our crushed stone inlays add a nice heft to the dice and a visual punch not seen in our standard milled pips. While our Aurora Inlays capture the haunting glow of one of natures most impressive sights, the Aurora Borealis.
Below you will find a list of options you may choose to have us inlay your dice with. Each option adds a unique flair to your custom dice set. We have eight different semi-precious stones we currently use for inlay work as well as seven different colors in our Aurora inlay. Below you will find a complete list of stone inlays we are currently offering.
Sean –
I saw all the inlay options on the druid dice pages except for turquoise. Will that inlay eventually be available for druid dice as well?
Charlie Brumfield –
thanks for the heads up. i’ve added it to the options list. you should be able to find it there now.
RayusBear –
If I ordered a Poly set (the non 10d10 kind) with the Inlay, would the pips on the d6’s would get the inlay?
Charlie Brumfield –
yup, it would be just the d6’s on the poly set.
Jack Reynolds –
So the poly dice would not have the semi-precious inlay?
Robert –
Do these affect the durability of the dice at all? Are they likely to come out over an extended time period or use?
Sean –
Can we get (…what did you call it… “Jester Inlay”)? Where a set of D6s runs through the list of inlay-types?
…Could we get it with the Aurora inlays?
Brett –
Have you experimented with adding the inlays to the laser engraved faces of polyhedrals? I obviously know nothing of your proprietary methods so I can’t even guess at the feasibility of this, but I thought I’d ask.
