  • Purple Heart

    Purple Heart

    $27.00$103.00

On top of all that, Purple Heart has a very vibrant purple color. It is more vibrant than the dyed woods available, proving that nobody does it better than mother nature. This vibrant purple is attained through oxidation, basically it’s wood rust. When purple heart is fresh cut it is a purplish brown. After several days to a couple of weeks exposure to oxygen in the air the wood takes on its familiar purple hue. Once the oxidation is complete we then clear coat the dice.

  • Black Palm Wood

    Black Palm Wood

    $63.00$273.00

Native to Southeast Asia, the Black Palm produces dense, stringy wood that may vary in color but is widely known for its distinctive speckled, streaked grain pattern and color contrast. Its stringy quality makes for unique finishes. We reject nearly 50 percent of this wood due to the nature of the wood fibers and their tendency to split during the crafting process. Suitable samples of Black Palm Wood make for some of the most beautiful dice we produce.

    East Indian Rosewood (Sonokeling)

    $42.00$167.00

East Indian Rosewood is stupid hearty and sometimes contains chalk deposits that will rapidly dull our endmills. It’s a sensitizer which means it take a bit of extra effort to machine, but it’s worth it. It’s very durable and even termite resistant! Rich dark tones and gorgeous stripes are just a few reasons why East Indian Rosewood makes a beautiful set of dice. It’s also commonly used in guitar necks and thanks to its density alternating light and dark grains it polishes to quite a shine. It hails from Sri Lanka, Eastern India, and Indonesia.
