Description
The olive tree is native to the coastal areas of southeastern Europe, western Asia, northern Africa and northern Iran. Its fruit, the olive, is a major source of olive oil. Olive wood grows in many regions around the Mediterranean. The olive tree is an evergreen tree and does not grow very tall. The average height of an olive tree is anywhere from 26 feet to 49 feet. Its trunk is usually crooked and twisted, leading to widely varied grain structures. If you are interested in olive wood with some biblical history check out our Bethlehem Olive Wood.

When I first got them I was a bit disappointed about how light (weight wise) they were. But it’s fine, I got used to the idea and honestly it’s for the best anyways. They have etched in numbers and are so light they should never really wear down! So in the end, it’s a good thing that they’re light.
