Teflon / PTFE
$39.00 – $167.00Teflon / PTFE
$39.00 – $167.00These dice are crafted from solid bar stock made from Teflon® PTFE resins, which makes these some of the slickest dice around. Teflon can be found in a myriad of modern applications, including chemical resistant containers, high temp industrial applications, racing components, surgical grafts, and NASA even sends this stuff in to space. But it’s probably best known for keeping your fried eggs from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
Please Note: This is the old style engraving. Your dice will be raster engraved. New pictures coming soon.

American Holly
$42.00 – $167.00American Holly
$42.00 – $167.00American Holly has the most pure white color of any wood in the world. It is very hard to dry properly without cracking and must be harvested in the dead of winter or the wood will be spalted (stained) with a blue-grey fungus. This process makes American Holly quite expensive. Add to that the fact that it is a nightmare to keep from shifting in board form, and it’s easy to see why only the most meticulate artisans work with this wood.

Gator Jawbone (Red Snapper)
$63.00 – $327.00Gator Jawbone (Red Snapper)
$63.00 – $327.00For those that aren’t aware, bone makes for horrible dice, it’s porous, oddly shaped, prone to chipping, and the larger pieces we need to make dice from are hollow and spongy in the middle thanks to that wonderful thing called marrow. So, for the longest time our standard answer was, “Nope sorry, we don’t make bone dice.”
As it would turn out all those issues are solved once you stabilize the bone and cast it in a urethane resin block. The colored holes you see are the resin filling in the teeth holes in the gator jawbone. The white parts are the actual gator jawbone. Yup, these dice aren’t just crated from any old bone, they’re made from an actual alligator jaw bone fresh from the swamps of Lousiana. Actually, they come from an alligator farm in Louisiana where we source gator jawbones from the largest of farm raised gators as it takes an 8ft gator to have a large enough jawbone to craft our dice from. Much like carnivorous cows, these gators are raised for meat and leather. If you haven’t tried it, fried alligator tail is really delicious.

Bloodwood
$42.00 – $167.00Bloodwood
$42.00 – $167.00Native to Central and South America, Bloodwood can range from a burnt orange to a deep red color. It has a pleasant smell and is quite dense. The chatoyance, or shimmer, is quite frankly amazing. It’s also one of the heaviest woods we use, making for an excellent set of dice. So much so it’s one of our top 3 recommendations for first time customers.

Bethlehem Olive Wood
$42.00 – $167.00Bethlehem Olive Wood
$42.00 – $167.00Every October, the olive trees in Bethlehem are pruned and the wood made available for artisans to create beautiful works of art. Bethlehem’s olive trees produce a more beautiful grain pattern than any other olive trees in Jerusalem due to their age. These trees’ roots date back to biblical times, and showcase a unique, wavy grain that offers sharp contrast to the light-toned olive wood.
PLEASE NOTE: Pens are not included with the set and we no longer craft rectangular boxes. Your dice will be shipped in our standard steel tin.

Chakte Kok (Red Heart)
$27.00 – $103.00Chakte Kok (Red Heart)
$27.00 – $103.00Chakte Kok is a buttery smooth wood related to Chake Viga. It has a vivid red color that will fade in strong UV light to orange (keep these dice out of the sun if you want them to stay red). We coat these dice in a uv protectant to keep the fading to a minimum. It can have strongly defined stripes of red and blue/black, when it does they look amazing. Also known as Red Heart, (though they are two different species their wood is identical and often sold interchangeably) Chakte Kok is native to Southern Mexico, Brazil and Paraguay
